Speed & Flight: Can hover stationary in the air before diving. Flight is direct and fast over short distances.

Sound: Very loud, shrill, and distinct screeching or squawking sound, especially when in large flocks.
Speed & Flight: Fast and direct flight. They often fly long distances in small, noisy groups between feeding areas and roosts.
